I have been training my own dogs since I was 6 yrs old and have gained many awards at the obedience training class I went to regularly. Throughout the years I have continually learned about dog training and dog behaviour and have put this knowledge into practise teaching both my own and client dogs from general obedience, pet Gundog training, and up to Field Trial Open Standard. GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTERS

We have owned and bred the Wirehairs since the late 1970s and have always made sure that the overall health and temperament have been uppermost in our minds when planning a litter. We are the top UK Kennel for GWP’s having owned/bred over 64 champions in the UK and we have accumulated the highest amount of championship show group wins and places-considerably more than any other UK Kennel. On the working side we have an outstanding record making up full champions and winning numerous top awards in the field all contributing to making Bareve the top Kennel of GWP is in the country.

In February 2023 we suffered the heartbreaking loss of one of our Wirehair bitches following a C-section at the vets. This left us completely devasted as we mourned the loss of a much loved member of our Wirehair family which resulted in us making the decision that there would be no more Bareve GWP’s litters born.
