Bareve Working Award Winners

We pride ourselves on producing German Wirehaired Pointers that not only conform to the UK breed standard for excellent breed type and construction but also dogs that are totally capable of performing their role in the field.

Bareve GWPs can be found around the country working successfully in the field as Falconry dogs and Roughshooting companions. Successfully turning their paw to whatever is asked of them, for those owners who wanted to compete in working tests and Field Trials Bareve GWPs have also won numerous awards in the UK.

Bareve GWPs have won Field Trial awards from Novice to Open, including First prizes - we are breeder and owner of Field Trial First prize winning GWPs. We also have numerous wins/placings in working tests from Puppy to Open standard. We own the only registered Deutsch Drahthaar to quality for the KC HPR Championships

As we always aim to produce dogs of excellent biddable temperament our GWPs have also gone on to gain awards with owners other than ourselves including those who are competing with their first gundog/HPR.

Bareve is also home of the breeds first Agility Winner - the only GWP qualified to run at Champion level (ABC) and a Bareve bred dog is the sire of the breeds only Dual Working Trial/Show Champion GWP.
