BAREVE
-Barbara & Sharon Pinkerton - Leics, England
The Bareve German
Wirehaired Pointer kennel was established in 1977 with the purchase of a
dog from the Wittekind kennel of M Mills de Hoog. The kennels focus has
always been to breed GWPs of excellent temperament and health capable of
doing the job they were bred for and also competing successfully in the
show ring. Consequently Bareve dogs are well known for their dual
purpose abilities, many being sold into working and falconry

We believe it is
important not only to have a dog capable of working in the field,
competing in the showring but also one that has the biddable good
temperament to live in the family home. Over the years we
have imported dogs from various parts of the globe to continue our
ethos of type, temperament, working ability and good health. We have
imported 2 dogs from the USA, 2 dogs from Holland and our latest
import is from Germany.
To discuss the
breed further or for information about our dogs please call or email us.
We do not
export our GWPs but sell them to working people, show/companion homes,
agility homes and working trial homes. Therefore our GWPs are very
versatile.
We
are full members of the Kennel Club, Honorary Life members of the
German Wirehaired Pointer Club UK, and members of the GWPCA (USA breed
club), VDD Club (German breed club) and The Cocker Spaniel Club UK
